Arnie Cox

Arnie Cox is author of Music & Embodied Cognition: Listening, Moving, Feeling, and Feeling (Indiana University Press, 2016) and of various other papers and chapters. He was educated in Northern California and Oregon and taught at The Oberlin Conservatory of Music from 1998 to 2022. He is currently working on three book projects: on musical value and valuing; on music theory pedagogy; and an etymological dictionary of musical terms.
