Stefanie Liang

Stefanie Liang works as university assistant at the Institute of Composition, Theory of Music, History of Music and Conducting (KUG) since October 2024. She completed the inter-university Master’s degree program in Musicology in Graz and at the same time studied instrumental pedagogy and artistic diploma in flute at the Gustav Mahler Private University in Klagenfurt. Since 2018, she has gained her first experience in the field of directing through various internships at operetta and opera festivals and worked at the Graz Opera, which crystallized her strong interest in musical theater. In addition to her musical activities, she has given academic lectures on opera production systems, music theater and the composer Gustav Mahler at national and international conferences in Italy, Croatia, the Czech Republic, England, Germany and Austria.
