Jean Paul Olive

Professor in the Department of Music at Paris 8 University where he teaches musical analysis and aesthetics. After being head of the Department of Arts, Philosophy and Aesthetics, he headed the Doctoral School of Aesthetics, Science and Technology of the Arts at Paris 8 University. He also founded the ‘Arts 8’ collection and he is co-director of the journal of musicology ‘Filigrane’.
