Sabine Sanio

Sabine Sanio has been been teaching in the master’s program Sound Studies and Sonic Arts at the Universität der Künste Berlin and is responsible for the theory focus. 2019-22 she was head of the D-A-CH research project Hearing the Other – on the Aesthetics of the Real in Experimental Music and Sound Art and is member of the curatorial team of the festival Heroines of Sound since 2015. Her numerous publications focus on aesthetics, media history and media aesthetics, contemporary and experimental music, sonic arts and the relationships between the arts.
